I hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, both from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Maribor. I have over 10 years of professional experience, including nearly 7 years as a Development Engineer at Samsung SDI Battery Systems GmbH, where I led component core teams and designed mechanical components for EV and PHEV batteries using Catia. My expertise covers DFMA, design of complex aluminum cast parts, plastic injection-molded parts, aluminum extrusions, stamped parts, and welded assemblies, as well as GD&T technical drawings and supplier coordination. I am proficient in Catia and SolidWorks, with additional experience in Creo, tolerance chain analysis, and basic mechanical FEM simulations. I also bring strong analytical thinking and a solid foundation in mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
