My name is Sikang Yan. I was previously part of the International Research Training Group (IRTG 2057), where I had the privilege of being supervised by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ralf Müller at the Technical University of Darmstadt and Distinguished Professor Bahram Ravani at the University of California, Davis. I earned my doctorate specializing in Mechanics through this program. During my time as a Simulation Engineer, I worked in the areas of structural mechanics, fluid mechanics, and thermal analysis.

Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have dedicated myself to advancing the fields of numerical simulation, algorithm optimization, and software development. My work bridges the gap between theoretical mechanics and practical applications, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to solve complex engineering problems.

In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies, including basketball, hip-hop dancing, and poker.
