Detailed description: Modelling of a bridge cross-section, consisting of a steel box girder and a concrete carriageway slab with variable thickness. Customer will provide his CAD model from Inventor and his previous shell model from ANSYS that can be imported into FE. You will also receive all the wide necessary documents for the creation of the FE model.
Your tasks:
1. Modelling of a bridge cross-section, consisting of a steel box girder and a concrete carriageway slab with variable thickness
2. Write a brief summary explaining results (1 page)
3. Explain the results to the customer

Definition of done:
•Structural-mechanical analysis with Ansys Workbench is done (a shell model for the box girder and roadway slab with “rigid and stiffness rods as connecting elements”).
•Model and simulations results explained to the customer.
