Detailed description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Drive Expert – Model Developer to join our project. As an Electrical Drive Expert, you will be working on developing and optimizing models for electrical drive systems, with a focus on motor control and analytical modelling of permanent magnet machines. Your expertise in MATLAB, Simulink, motor control, and field-oriented control (FOC) algorithms will be essential in driving innovation and ensuring the performance of the drive system.

Your tasks: 

  • Develop and optimize models for electrical drive systems, with a focus on motor control and analytical modelling of permanent magnet machines.
  • Utilize MATLAB and Simulink to design and simulate motor control systems, ensuring accurate representation of system dynamics.
  • Conduct analytical modelling and analysis of permanent magnet machines to understand their performance characteristics and optimize their operation.
  • Implement field-oriented control (FOC) algorithms to achieve precise control of motor performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate drive models into larger system simulations and validate their performance.

Additional comments:

  • Expert-level proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink for model development and simulation is required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is beneficial.
  • Proven experience in developing and optimizing models for electrical drive systems is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment is required.
