Detailed Description:

The goal of the project is to dimension and calculate the electric machine of an existing series and the assembly line using Ansys Maxwell or MotorCAD. Additionally, it involves assessing the IVIC standard for motor classification and creating corresponding data sheets using MotorCAD based on the test results achieved.

 

Your Tasks:

  • Create data sheets for an existing motor.
  • Analyze the existing design concerning cogging torque, thermal behaviour, and IVIC standard compliance.
  • Create a technical development concept addressing requirements related to cogging torque reduction, thermal behaviour improvement and torque density increase.
  • Develop the motor by parameterizing the thermal model using MotorCAD based on the existing motor analysis and the previously created development concept, leading up to the approval phase. The approval phase is completed once the motor meets the defined requirements.
  • Execute testing and document results.
  • Resolve any identified errors or deviations from the specification based on validation results.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for all processes and results.

 

Additional Comments:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in the development of electric machines, especially synchronous machines.
  • Proficiency in using MotorCAD, Ansys Maxwell, or similar software tools.
  • Familiarity with standards, particularly the IVIC standard.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
