Description of skills | Hello there, Greetings! I am a motor designer by profession and have been a part of EV industry for more than 7 years. I have high proficiency in motor designing, generator designing and electromagnetic FEA in static and transient conditions. I can also provide electromagnetic solution for customised design or design to be start from scratch. I have worked with following motors: 1. BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) 2. PMSM Radial (Inrunner and Outrunner) 3. Axial motors (dual stator/rotor) 4. IPM as well as SPM topology rotors. 5. Linear Magnet Motors I have been using the concepts of Magnet Embraces, Halbach array and Reluctance torque in motor designing to have higher performance and efficiency. I have previously also conducted project with Magnax and was in talks with Collins Aerospace for motors. Currently, I am doing research on a magnet free motor that performs equally to BLDC/PMSM motors with any 3phase position sensing based sin/Trapezoidal controller. I have good knowledge of Li-ion batteries NMC and LFP 18650, controllers and BMS. And can also work on sourcing the parts. Also, I have been using Autodesk Inventor for 3D CAD Modelling and Ansys for FEA in order to design and optimisation, and can provide you with mechanical solutions service too if required. I have been using concepts of DFM and DFA from the very beginning of designing so that post complexity can be avoided and iterations can be reduced. I have access to manufacturing facility, and have prior experience in CNC lathe and Milling, Die casting, sand casting, laser-cutting, injection moulding and 3D printing.
